Young's Survivor Season Opinions
Survivor S10: Nauru
After a short hiatus following AS7, I decided it was time to go back to basics. One island, two tribes, Borneo style. No twists.
Though this was met with a bit of criticism due to the lack of Immunity Idols, it allowed pure gameplay as players could think solely about the other contestants instead of the twists that could ruin everything for them. For this season, the best and worst appliers got to start the tribe-picking in a schoolyard pick, with NBA_24 and Cazology getting first picks. Eventually, it became a game of trying to split up big alliances, as people feared another MSA takeover, causing BostonRobMariano, NBA_24, Mickyboomy, and AnEpikReshiram to be early boots. At the merge, it became ThunderBird667's crew at the Daguiga tribe against Cazology's allies at the Naikomo tribe. Due to Naikomo throwing the last two pre-merge challenges, they were outnumbered 6-4. However, iiGrxnde and Losingdogs flipped to try and take out some of the leaders of Daguiga, while NeonDev flipped to try and take out Cazology before he became a competition threat (which actually happened...), causing a 5-5 split, until StarIghts made a horrible move and voted for iiGrxnde instead, allowing the Naikomo Alliance to pagong the Daguiga tribe one-by-one, ending with the two who had flipped to save them, until there was only four Naikomo players remaining. Neon, who had earlier tried flipping, got out first for being a potential competition threat in the Final Immunity, leaving the core Naikomo players at the end. A very split Jury decision led to a scenario where any of the final three could have won if they had eliminated the right person, but in the end, a deserving player won. A very dramatic season with great gameplay, but was plagued by a lack of idols and the use of the Death Vote, instead of Purple Rock. Could have been better, but was great nonetheless. Season Ranking: 2/13.

Winner: Witchescoven, 4-3Witchescoven entered the game immediately ready to play. She quickly worked with Cazology to try and blindside BostonRobMariano at the very first tribal, which succeeded. The two lured llConnorll and NeonDev into joining their core alliance, giving them early control over the tribe. After Coolpokemonfan2001 attempted to make moves against her, she convinced her allies into voting him out instead of NeonTail8D, who was annoying them to death. Once twelve players remained, they decided to throw the next two Immunities to make their alliance more solid, booting NeonTail8D and AnEpikReshiram, though she did feel really bad about having to vote off AnEpik. At the merge, despite being outnumbered 4-6, they were able to woo iiGrxnde and Losingdogs into flipping, but after Neon flipped as well, they were even 5-5. Although they initially wanted to target ThunderBird667 for being the leader of Daguiga, Witch suggested that MrYankee1996, who everybody loved, should be a back-up vote. After Thunder won Immunity, the back-up plan went to action, and thanks to StarIghts voting the wrong person, they successfully took out Yankee, though everyone was still sad about it. Afterwards, she managed to win herself an Immunity and they took out Thunder, and went along pagonging the rest of the Daguiga tribe, booting StarIghts and Waraba. In the meantime, Caz went on an Immunity run, winning himself safety each and every week, causing her allies to want to take him out as soon as he lost a challenge. She used this to her advantage and made a Final Two deal with Caz so they both made it to the Final Three, she was guaranteed to go to the end. Although she initially planned on voting out Rad for being sketchy, Connor attempted to blindside Witch instead. However, she fooled Connor into saving her by exposing Rad for targeting Connor over the past few votes. Her plan worked, and Connor flipped the vote to eliminate Rad. She was able to coast to the end as Grxnde and Neon were clipped, and after losing (throwing?) the Final Immunity, Connor shockingly defeated Caz and eliminated him. However, the Jury felt Witch's silent control over the game, and convincing everyone else into keeping her safe despite her close ties with Caz, was more deserving and she narrowly won 4-3. A very deserving player and one of the best winners of all time. GJ!

Runner-Up: llConnorll, 3-4llConnorll was, well, not very liked when he entered the game. For starters, he was the last person picked to join a tribe. In fact, he joined Naikomo by DEFAULT. Regardless, his hate for BostonRobMariano attracted the attention of Witchescoven and Cazology, who let Connor join their alliance, along with NeonDev. Though Connor didn't trust Witch, he used the alliance to keep himself safe through to the merge, and participated in taking out Coolpokemonfan2001, NeonTail8D, and AnEpikReshiram. Once making the merge, he convinced his good friend iiGrxnde into flipping to his side, though for the most part she was more of his sheep, and she did whatever he told him to. Thanks to her flipping, along with Losingdogs who didn't like his old tribemates, they were able to take out MrYankee1996, ThunderBird667, StarIghts, and Waraba. However, Rad constantly conspired to blindside Connor, due to Rad seeing him as controlling the game, as he had allies everywhere. Despite this, Rad failed to convince people to go along with the plan, and after failing to get out Connor, Witch tricked Connor into voting out Rad instead of her. Afterwards, his close ally Grxnde was taken out, much to his dismay. Despite Witch and Caz not trusting him, they saw him as a weaker threat than Neon, and spared him, and Connor made it to the Final Three. Due to Caz seemingly controlling the game and going on an Immunity Run, Connor saw him as the biggest threat to win the game, though worried the Jury wouldn't want to vote for Caz anyways. Once Connor shockingly outlasted Caz in the Final Immunity, Connor took a chance and eliminated Caz, taking his rival Witch to the end. Unfortunately for Connor, the Jury felt he was dragged to the end, and overall liked Witch more, and he lost 3-4. Had he taken Caz to the end, Connor would have won 4-3 due to the bitter Jury. Overall didn't have great control, and was easily manipulated into voting the wrong person. RIP, second time losing 3-4 in a Final Two...
