All-Starz 8: Cast Analysis
The Heroes
TurtIy
Survivor Placements: Easter Island: 6th / 15 - Auto-Eliminated for Inactivity Tonga: 3rd / 20 - Voted out 1-0 by Big Bali: 13th / 21 - Lost Tiebreaker to Phorix Kyushu: 21st / 24 - Voted out 2-0 by Time and Water TurtIy is one of the more social players, typically aligning with many people and being generally well liked whenever he competes. However, he's often taken out for being a social or jury threat, causing his demise. I believe TurtIy has the potential to go deep in this game, but is almost always screwed over by a bad swap, or his teammates are just better at challenges than him. If he can just get to the merge, and avoid being seen as a sheep, I'm confident he'll be able to coast to the Finale and earn his long-awaited win. |
Brandonthestick
Survivor Placements: Japan: 12th / 17 - Voted out 5-1 revote by Tony, Connor, Hanad, Grxm, and Phorix Greek Isles: 1st / 21 - Won 6-5 Jury Revote Brandonthestick is the definition of chaos. He will throw whenever he wants, fight whoever he wants, and win whatever he wants. However, he is rarely taken seriously, even when he's genuinely willing to flip to the other side. Being a former winner, he's gonna have an early target, especially if he creates too much chaos and people see him as an easy vote to survive the week. If he can form strong bonds and paint bigger targets than him, he could go very far in the game. |
Minty711
Survivor Placements: Malaysia: 14th / 32 - Voted out 3-0 revote Easter Island: 13th / 15 - Voted out 2-1 Tonga: Quit Bali: Removed for Inactivity Kyushu: 16th / 24 - Voted out 4-1 by Rob, Mike, Xbro, and Moon Barbados: 4th / 18 - Voted out 3-1 by Kettle, Bloo, and Peace Minty711 is a loyal player, often fighting very hard to keep his closest allies safe. However, he's no sheep, and will gladly backstab an ally if they seem to be running the game. Though he's not the smartest or toughest player, he can create social bonds that can keep him safe even when he seems like the easiest and most obvious vote. A long-time Veteran, Minty711 has never won a season yet, but if he makes the big moves and fights to the bitter end, he may finally earn a win. |
Maddysduck
Survivor Placements: South Africa: 15th / 16 - Voted out 2-0 by BrightEyes101 and Acerrs Easter Island: 1st / 15 - Won 5-3 Jury Vote Bermuda: 12th / 19 - Voted out 3-2 by Luis, Mike, and Bloo Bali: 4th / 21 - Voted out 2-1 by Big and Mike Maddysduck is a strong independent female who doesn't need anyone else to keep her safe. A massive competition beast, she has soloed many tribe immunities to keep herself safe, even when her entire tribe wanted to vote her out. If she wants to make her comeback and be the first two-time winner, she's gonna need to get allies... FAST. If she can't line up a crew before the merge, she'll easily be flicked as soon as she loses an Immunity Challenge. |
Witchescoven
Survivor Placements: Nauru: 1st / 16 - Won 4-3 Jury Vote Barbados: 10th / 18 - Idoled out 4-0 by Bloo, Minty, Neon, and Moon Witchescoven is a modern Sandra Diaz-Twine. Though she hasn't won twice, she has adopted a winning strategy of working with the power players, in exchange for safety, or just to be an extra vote, allowing her to rise into the majority, where she pushes the vote onto people who may be a threat to her or her allies games, without coming off as a sheep, or riding their coattails. Because she isn't very strong in challenges, she's rarely targeted over her stronger allies. As long as she stays in the majority and keeps her name from being thrown out, she can easily get to the finale. |
Fungameshow555
Survivor Placements: Kyushu: 11th / 24 - Voted out 3-2-2 by Rob and Short Fungameshow555 is one of the less experienced players, having only competed in Kyushu. While he isn't a very smart player, he does vote against the people he needs to vote against, and he is surprisingly strong in challenges. He's easy to underestimate, and isn't an obvious threat. He's also social enough to get absorbed into a majority alliance, so if Fungameshow555 can work on his mental game and avoid sheeping power players, he could pull an upset victory. |
ClassicCrusher7
Survivor Placements: Tonga: 7th / 20 - Voted out 2-0 Greek Isles: 8th / 21 - Voted out 5-3 by Mike, Eminem, Time, Yellow, and Tony Barbados: 6th / 18 - Voted out 3-2 by Bloo, Minty, and Neon ClassicCrusher7 is a physical beast. He can destroy an obby in no time and is virtually unstoppable in most challenges. For a long time he was a dumb sheep though, but he's recently turned into the shepherd, giving him an A+ in social, physical, AND mental capability. Unfortunately, that makes him a #triplethreat so nobody wants to keep him around too far into the merge. However, he's still likable, and that alone could get him far into the season. |
Kyle5470
Survivor Placements: Kyushu: 12th / 24 - Voted out 4-2 by Rob, Xbro, TJ, and Eminem Barbados: 16th / 18 - Quit Kyle5470 is an interesting player. He performs well in challenges and can easily absorb himself into an alliance, but is relatively quiet and tries not to bring too much attention to himself. However, he's also not afraid to make big moves and will cut an ally if they're a big enough jury threat. While others socialize, he strategizes. In a way, he plays very similar to Zeke Smith. If he can make big moves and work on his jury management, he may be the next All-Starz winner. |
Waraba
Survivor Placements: Nauru: 7th / 16 - Voted out 5-1-1 by Witch, Connor, Caz, Neon, and Grxnde Waraba is somewhat of a forgotten player. He didn't do anything memorable in Nauru, and kinda disappeared after the season. However, he was able to flip the vote onto a power player with no problem, and rose his way to the top of his tribe afterwards. While he's definitely not a smart player, he's had time to distance himself from Survivor, giving him a fresh start. If he can work on his social game and be more aware of what's going on, he could be a dangerous threat to win. |
Tastyshadow
Survivor Placements: Tonga: 15th / 20 - Voted out 2-0 Tastyshadow hasn't played since Tonga, so he officially takes the record for longest break between seasons. During Tonga he immediately mutinied, and was quick to make his game known. Unfortunately, he was voted out after not showing up. Since then, he's become a vastly different player, being extremely well liked and great at challenges, and will fight every second to survive one more week. He's either gonna be robbed a victory or be a legendary winner. |
Evanester
Survivor Placements: South Africa: 11th / 16 - Voted out 2-0 revote by Bloo and Short India: 3rd / 16 - Voted out 1-0 by Connor Greek Isles: 14th / 21 - Voted out 3-2 by Time, Tony, and Raven Evanester is a hero at heart, even though his old username was "Badboy0913." He's literally incapable of backstabbing, and is incredibly loyal to those he works with, but not to the point he will sheep them. This is also his downfall, as he's targeted by association most of the time. He performs great in challenges, but isn't a very strategic player. Loved by all, if he could just get to the FINALE he would finally get himself a win. But if he wants to get there, he's gonna need to find himself a loyal alliance in a season filled with players ready to flip. Bummer. |
Tonytonychopper64
Survivor Placements: India: 4th / 16 - Voted out 3-1 by Mike, Connor, and Evan Japan: 4th / 17 - Voted out 2-1 revote by Rad and Grander Greek Isles: 6th / 21 - Idoled out 2-0 by Mike Tonytonychopper64 is what Susan Hawk would call a snake. He hides in the grass, waiting for the perfect opportunity to bite our ankles. As far as his social game goes, he does the bare minimum to keep his name from being thrown out, but not enough where people would risk their own games to save him. He doesn't have a very good challenge history, but is smart about when he makes big moves. He just needs to avoid looking like a floater and gain the jury's respect. |
Yellow5995
Survivor Placements: Easter Island: 5th / 15 - Voted out 1-0 by Phorix Bermuda: 13th / 19 - Voted out 4-0 Bali: 7th / 21 - Voted out 3-2-2-1 Greek Isles: 5th / 21 - Voted out 4-1 by Brandon, Mike, Eminem, and Time Yellow5995 is probably the most strategic player out there. He's also a great physical competitor, so that's two out of three. Social? Kinda...? He typically ends up talking with everyone to the point he accidentally aligns with everyone, so he's stuck having to backstab someone every week, or risk everyone comparing notes and targeting him instead. More times than not, he's voted out as soon as he loses an immunity challenge. If he wants to finally make it to the finale, he'll need to forge real relationships and not be scared to make the moves required to win it all. |
