Young's Survivor Season Opinions
Survivor S6: Bali
Bali was the first post-AS6 season, and had a Brawns vs. Brain vs. Beauty theme. Interestingly, it featured every single past winner: KirbsAsianPersuasion, Phorix, Maddysduck, BigXXVI, and TrucuIentus, although TrucuIentus dropped out shortly before the season started. This season featured three main twists. The first is that for the majority of the season, players would cast TWO votes at tribal council, both for different players. This made it easier for targets to escape elimination, as they could figure out who the second vote would be for, but also made it easier to split votes and caused many ties in the late-game. The second twist was that the tribe that placed second in the Immunity Challenge would vote a player to join the winning tribe each week, although it was mainly inactives that were tossed around. The third and final twist was that there would not be a merge unless a tribe ran out of players, which occurred after Phorix was eliminated by default after he failed to attend the Immunity Challenge, and Mengwi ran out of members. There was also a Tribe Leader twist where each tribe voted for who they felt was their strongest member, and those players would have to instantly banish two people from their tribe to join each of the opposing tribes, in order to shuffle the tribes and make premades harder to maintain. During the tribes phase, contestants mainly voted out players who were inactive, until Mengwi started running out of members and was forced to take out otherwise strong players. Once the merge hit, Maddysduck dominated several Immunity Challenges, while outsiders were taken out due to the double vote twist. The merge was fairly unmemorable aside from the last three tribal councils, where Peaceskiess and Kirb were blindsided, and Maddy was eliminated, sparking a bitter jury and a highly undeserving winner. A very forgettable season, only remembered for good players being robbed and a bitter jury result, leading to the group nearly dying due to disgust over the bitter community. Season ranking: 12/13.
Winner: Raytonlin1, 5-3-1Raytonlin1 was a group member who had been around for a surprisingly long time, although never participated in seasons. This led people to believe he was an alt and outcasted him, although I still don't know where he came from. After being cast in hopes of being an underdog newbie, he became incredibly inactive, though survived by showing up just before he got five strikes. Whenever he came, he would either float, publicly ask people for alliances, completely bomb the challenges, or all of the above. Due to his floater status, he constantly was tossed from tribe to tribe, until he made merge and constantly got involved in ties, but never got voted off as people wanted to take him to the end for an easy win. However, after BigXXVI and MikeTheMagnific voted out Maddysduck, she and Timewarpagain led a Jury revolt to give the win to Ray, causing a very upsetting win, which caused the group to go into a deep inactive period, and lose many members. Thanks, Time. Thanks.

Runner-Up: BigXXVI, 3-5-1BigXXVI, the winner from Tonga, came back to prove he could still win with an active cast. Although the cast was still inactive, it was an improvement from Tonga. He quickly allied with KirbsAsianPersuasion, and the two controlled the Sepang tribe, keeping them safe for the tribes phase. After making it to the merge, the two, joined with MikeTheMagnific, widdled down Maddysduck's allies and other threats, until she managed to win the Final Five Immunity and convince MikeTheMagnific to blindside Kirb. However he managed to win the Final Immunity and easily convinced Mike to take out Maddy, the biggest threat to win the game by far. Unfortunately, her and her allies were extremely bitter, and swayed the Jury vote to the inactive Jury goat Raytonlin1, robbing Big of what should've been his next Survivor win. Although Juries are normally bitter over cocky or arrogant players, he played very respectfully. Deserved the win, robbed by bitterness.

Second Runner-Up: MikeTheMagnific, 1-5-3MikeTheMagnific, a great player from Malaysia and AS6, returned to finally take home the win. However, he constantly missed sessions due to his awkward sleep schedule, causing him to fall out of the loop and stop caring for the season. After he finally started showing up, he participating in taking out bigger Jury threats in the hopes of giving the win to someone he felt deserved it, but ultimately screwed himself and BigXXVI over by blindsiding KirbsAsianPersuasion, allowing the even-more-inactive Raytonlin1 to reach the Finale, and win due to a bitter Jury. Didn't deserve the win by any means, but unknowingly contributed to the bitterness of the Jury.
